Line Dapat Dipakai Telepon 199 Orang Sekaligus

Pengguna Line kini bisa melakuakan group call atau panggilan telepon berkelompok hingga 200 orang, termasuk inisiator panggilan. Fitur ini baru saja dirilis dalam update terbaru aplikasimobile dan desktop Line.

Fitur panggilan berkelompok seperti ini sebenarnya sudah biasa disematkan di berbagai aplikasi, misalnya Skype. Bedanya adalah kapasitas yang ditawarkan Line cenderung massal, hingga 200 orang, sedangkan Skype hanya bisa dipakai menelepon 25 orang sekaligus.

Sebagaimana dilansir KompasTekno dari Engadget, Sabtu (12/3/2016), fitur group call dirilis untuk Line versi 5.11 di Android dan iOS atau Line versi 4.5 di Windows Desktop. Pengguna harus memperbarui aplikasinya ke versi ini agar bisa memakai fitur yang dimaksud.

Namun tunggu dulu. Indonesia belum bisa menjajal fitur panggilan massal tersebut karena sementara ini baru dirilis untuk negara-negara di luar Asia.

Selain Indonesia, negara yang belum mendapat fitur ini adalah Jepang, Taiwan, dan Thailand. Negara yang jadi pasar utama Line justru mendapatkannya belakangan karena mesti menunggu fitur baru itu benar-benar sempurna.

Sekadar diketahui, panggilan melalui Line menggunakan layanan data. Artinya pengguna bebas dari biaya pulsa, namun tetap akan terkena biaya paket data dari operator yang digunakan.

Selain merilis untuk tiga platform yang disebutkan di atas, perusahaan yang besar di Jepang ini juga bakal merilis fitur group call untuk Mac.
